Heron in the Snow, is a serene example of the shin-hanga movement by artist Ohara Koson. It blends traditional Japanese kachō-e (bird-and-flower) themes with a modern, naturalistic approach appreciated in the West. The artist uses meticulous detail and subtle colour gradients (bokashi) to create a quiet, ambient winter scene, focusing on the solitary bird's form and texture against the stark, snowy backdrop.

Studio Gallery Frame in 'black'; acrylic safety fronts; ready-to-hang options.

Gift-ready, arriving hand-wrapped in acid-free tissue paper. Plastic-free packaging.
