Delicate study of grace and intimacy. The flowing lines of the kimono and the gentle positioning of the fan showcase Hokusai’s ability to capture soft, human moments with the same precision as his grand landscapes. Woman Holding a Fan had a number of iterations. Perhaps the most famous was originally a silk painting (Nikuhitsuga), not a woodblock print.

Studio Gallery Frame in 'black' and 'light oak'; acrylic safety fronts; ready-to-hang options.
