The rich indigo and violet hues of the 'wishbone flower' are meticulously rendered against fresh green trailing foliage, creating a captivating display of exotic botanical artistry. Miss Sarah Anne Drake was one of the most prolific botanical artists of the 1800s. In a male-dominated field, she became the primary illustrator for The Botanical Register.
