The Queen Flower (Strelitzia reginae) erupts in brilliant oranges and deep purples against a dark, tropical shoreline. Thornton captures the Bird of Paradise at its most majestic, its sharp, avian-like petals piercing a moody, overcast sky, embodying the exotic mystery of the Cape of Good Hope. The plant was named Strelitzia reginae in honour of Queen Charlotte, who was born a Princess of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. She was the Queen the flower was dedicated to.

Framed options from A4 to A1 sizes. Frame colour: 'Black' or 'Light Oak'.
