Botanical portrait of intense focus, the American Cowslip (Dodecatheon) features delicate, reflexed pink petals that mimic a shooting star. Set against a vast, brooding marshland and a gathering storm, Thornton creates a stark contrast between the flower's fragile, downward-facing elegance and the raw, untamed power of the wilderness. Its scientific name, Dodecatheon, translates to Twelve Gods, as the flower was once believed to be under the protection of the primary Olympian deities.

Framed options from A4 to A1 sizes. Frame colour: 'Black' or 'Light Oak'.
