It captured the era's romantic fascination with Scandinavia’s natural grandeur. The Royal Mail Steam Packet Company was once the largest shipping group in the world before it was liquidated in 1932 following a high-profile financial scandal. The artist is Percy Padden (1885–1965), a prolific British poster designer and the poster was created c.1928.
