Nodding Renealmia (now known as Alpinia) displays its cascading, orchid-like white and yellow blossoms against a lush tropical forest. Thornton contrasts the waxy, heavy texture of the nodding flowers with a shadowy, primaeval wilderness, evoking the humid mystery of the exotic jungle. The Renealmia belongs to the Zingiberaceae (Ginger) family; many species in this genus produce vibrant berries used traditionally for both medicinal dyes and aromatic spices.
Framed options from A4 to A1 sizes. Frame colour: 'Black' or 'Light Oak'.
