Koson masterfully captures the transition of seasons. The vibrant, warm orange of the ivy leaves creates a striking complementary contrast with the deep blue of the bird and berries. Koson's delicate linework on the feathers provides a sense of lifelike texture against the soft, matte background. Koson's originals utilised the rare karazuri technique to emboss the white plumage of the bird in the original printed images, creating a subtle three-dimensional texture that can only be seen when the paper catches the light at a specific angle.

For A4 and A3 prints we use 270gsm Mohawk Superfine paper media. For A2 and A1 prints we use 270gsm Etching Cotton paper media. To protect our prints we use shatter-resistant acrylic. To frame our prints we use solid wood frames or engineered wood.
